Riding Lessons
From your first trot to competition — for all ages

Learning to ride is learning a new language — that of the biggest, noblest teammate you will ever have. At VIANAEQUESTRE we have been teaching that language since 2009, to children from the age of 4 and to adults of every age.
How the lessons work
The first lessons are all about settling in: meeting your horse, grooming, tacking up, learning how it thinks. Then comes the work in the arena — position, transitions, trot, canter — and, once you are riding with confidence, your first outings beyond the gates, on the beach and along the trails.
We teach in individual lessons or small groups, always with certified instructors and school horses chosen for their patience and gentle temperament.

Frequently asked questions
From what age can children start?
From age 4 with pony taster sessions and games; regular lessons usually begin at 6. Every child progresses at their own pace — no rushing, and always in safety.
I've never ridden and I'm 40/50/60. Is it too late?
It's never too late! We have riders who started after 50. The first lessons are one-to-one, in a calm setting, with experienced horses that have taught hundreds of riders.
How much does it cost and how do the packages work?
We offer single lessons and monthly packages (4 or 8 lessons), with a discount for association members. Get in touch for current prices — we reply the same day.
What should I wear to my first lesson?
Comfortable long trousers (leggings or stretchy jeans), closed shoes with a small heel and clothing in layers. We lend you the helmet.
